Nominate your event or project for the Global Alliance of Artists Environment Xchange 2013-14 featured programs! This year’s theme is “Trail Mixer”, and we invite projects that provide opportunities and pathways for artists and environmental groups to connect, partner, and learn from each other.The deadline for completing the nomination application is Thursday, August 22, 2013.
Proposed events or projects should take place in the Chicago region between October 2013-September 2014, and feature:
- opportunities for artists
- demonstrations of sustainable practices in the arts, OR
- best practices in art and environment partnerships
Many types of events are welcomed! Examples from 2012-13 include:
- Art supply exchange at Joe’s garage
- Tour of artist opportunities at the Forest Preserve District of Cook County sites
- Climate clinics providing educational resources for artists about climate change
- And other creative events!
